The stats don't lie

Decatur Herald

Illinois ranks last in the Big Ten in scoring defense (32.0 ppg), 10th in rushing defense (182.5 ypg) and 10th in total defense (384 ypg). Illinois is also last in defending on third down and 10th in turnover margin.
Zook's background is coaching defense. It shows.

What? No scathing post criticizing Zook this week?

I'm on vacation douchebag. What do you want me to do sing his praises for beating up what turns out to be a terrible Michigan team? See ya at the end of the season.

At least he beat the terrible team he faced this season.

You could say a lot of things to defend Zook without making yourself look so stupid as when you compare him to coach Urban Meyer, a coach that has turned around THREE programs to date. Zook took Florida down a notch and totaled 4 wins in his first two seasons at Illinois before being handed a Rose Bowl Berth on a silver platter and getting embarrassed.

Yeah SEC, that "terrible" Michigan team going through a coaching transition right now. Turns out it was a "gimme" win for moRon Zook.

Let's see how you do against an improved Minnesota team this week - oh and BTW Tim Brewster had a better 2008 recruiting class than that so-called "master recruiter" known as the Zooker. I really hope the Gophers put Illinoise in their place this weekend - this gator fan will be saying "Rah-rah-rah for Ski-u-mah" if I get that game in my viewing area this Saturday.

Wow...did I just witness a typical Zook coached team??? No discipline, poorly coached, and getting better and better! Go Gophers

FF, we all know from experience that "it is correctable" in Zookspeak.
