Welcome Back My Friends to the Show That Never Ends

Hello all!

I see that I'm being graced by hundreds of new readers. I'm sure you'll have many questions, like "Is this the original fireronzook.com?" or is this author beneath the bag the actual BAGHEAD that began fireronzook.com?".

The answer to both is "no!"

Check the sidebar and read about this blog, why it exists and will continue to exist. I could provide links here so that you don't have to hunt, but I don't feel like it. It's holiday for fuck's sake!

So make yourselves at home, bookmark the page and if you are a loyal fan of the Illini then remember Bobby Knight's reputed remarks about an inevitable rape.

Enjoy!

Clay Aiken could lube up his asshole and shove six male gerbils into his rectum while simultaneously blowing the cast of "Queer Eye" along with Rob Halford and Freddie Mercury's corpse . . . and it still wouldn't be as gay as this blog.

Anon #1: Only little kids call things they don't like "gay". Seems as though your mommy still has to sit you up on a changing table because you piddled in your Pull-Ups before she could grab you under your arms and hold you up to do pee-pee in the potty.

I just took a shit. It reminded me of this blog. Funny how those things work.

Reading this blog makes me want to kick a dog.

Man, I'm so glad this site is still around. I'm blown away by how much more successful UF is without Zook. I guess he's as good as Illinois could expect though.

That inevitable rape will start to really take shape this Saturday....then it's all downhill for the fighting zooks.
Just think...next year,Illinois will go to a bowl, because they will fire Zook and another coach will win with his players!

Zook is the definition of doing less with more. When has Florida ever had trouble recruiting good players. We (Illinois) haven't had a 5 star in a while, not since Zook ran out of starting spots to promise.

As a Champaign Native, I just want to make it known that not all Illinois fans are complete idiots. I for one LOVE your site! I just wish I had found it sooner. Zook is the epitome of coaches who can't coach. No matter what star player he miraculously convinces to sign their death warrant, he doesn't know what to do with them when they get here. Unfortunately, Illinois fans are having to go down the same road as the Florida fans did. I can only hope that our program has the same turnaround as Florida's did when we finally come to our senses and oust Zook. I guess one way to describe Zook's coaching is to compare it to those Saturday morning commercials in the 80's with the egg in the frying pan. This is your team, This is your team coached by Ron Zook. Any Questions?

he does that same shotgun play action/option run BS the whole game and wonders why the other team's blitzers are constantly in the back field molesting juice and which ever RB we have in. oh and that 3rd and 2 qb sneak that was genius this guy will be big time one day. the only good thing about getting shut out by OSU today? i didn't have to see that swinging gate retardedness.

J,

The U of I program was never and will never be Florida, no matter which coach you decide is "good enough" to stick around. There seems to be this sect of Illinois fans that is incapable of realizing their program will NEVER be an elite one. They may not be "complete idiots", but they are certainly unreasonable people and in some cases something much worse than stupid.

Anonymous (since you won't show your name),

I think you misunderstood my post, or implied far too much. I'm not delusional about Illinois sports. I know where they stand in the grand scheme of things(which is why I hold no emotional stake in them). I'm not asking for elite. I'm merely asking for a coach who can make intelligent play choices and prove that he is at least competent enough to be coaching college level sports. Is that so "unreasonable"?

yeah that's what we should strive for, mediocrity, how dare we even think about having an elite program to root for, and wishing we had a big 10 power house. that's what we pay this guy a million dollars a year for so that we can have an ok team to watch i wish some one paid me a million a year to be mediocre. i guess if we're only looking for a so so team, then zook would be perfect, he did a great job at turning florida into one.

J,

Posting as "J" is pretty much the same as posting as "Anonymous", so take that bullshit and shove it back where it came from.
